Como-n and tell me!!

Hi, Spending a week around Lake Como with my wife and 15 month old daughter in the middle / end of August. We've got a villa booked in Argegno,so will be using that as our base. Any tips on what to see / do around the area? We've got a hire car, so getting around isn't going to be a problem.

There's a nice Via Ferrata in mountains near Mandello Del Lario on the other side of the lake.

I am so jealous - I looked up that town and it looks wonderful. The whole general area is paradise. If you feel like exploring and venturing into Switzerland, you might take a look at the part of my report that talks about Lugano and the Ticino area - Lugano is only about an hour away, might make a nice boat trip. Or I recommended a few other things. Have fun!
